About Hotel Ambadi - a 46 room theme resort situated at the Periyar Tiger Reserves, is one of the first private sector resorts in Kerala. Designed by the world renowned architect Mr. Lauwrie Baker, the hotel was conceptualized on the traditional architectural splendor of a typical Kerala village, complete with a thulasi thara and nallukettu. "Ambadi" as the name denotes is the birth place of Lord Krishna, the mythical god in the great epic of India - The Mahabharatha. The life of lord Krishna, the history, the myth, is the core theme of this resort. The resort is replete with references to the life of Lord Krishna. |
