About Us

Nature's Lap Resort: Nested in the Himalayas at 2500 mts. above sea level, is blessed with some of the most & spectacular and beautiful land scapes. Surrounded by a very thick deodar forest, with almost nil habitation around and a continuous melody of an Ice-fed stream. It offer's a real paradise for the nature lovers. You can hear the birds chirping during the day. Nest amidst the hills, the resort offers independence as much needed privacy in the 07 Hust's & 04 Rooms along with a lobby. View from each Hut is unique one, an untouched country side & thick deodar forest - ultimate greenery. Services includes a Multi cuisine Restaurant and Bar (opening shortly). Conference Hall Recreation Rooms, three lush green lawns at Different level's. Indoor activities (line chess, praying cards, carom-board) etc.

The unique feature of the Resort is Outdoor Adventures Sports Activities. Which Includes (Sand Volley-Ball, Soft-ball Cricket, Badminton, Natures treks, Rappling & Rock climbing, Zig-Zag. We own resort by the name of "Nature's Lap Resort", it is situated in village Ghyagi, Tehsil Banjar, Distt. Kullu, H. P. It falls in Sojha Valley, which is known as Mini Switzerland of India.

Our resort is surrounded on 2 sides by a highly thick deodar forest and bellow the resort there is a nice stream of Ice fed water which is truly virgin and has good amount of world famous trout fish. Frank enough this property is in interior of Himachal and is away from the main tourist ladden cities like Shimla and Manali. But it is fall of untouched natural beauty. We are higher than Manali and Shimla. Like Rohtang Pass we also have a Jalori Pass. (at 3225 mtrs), just about 10 kilometers away. The world famous Great Himalayan National Park is just 18 Kmts from us. Nearby area offers nice sight seeing spots. We are just 3/1/2 Kms away from famous 'Banrara Retreat'. There are lots of trekking tracks and famous being the one to sea lable.Non Stop Music at every contour adds a special effect to the whole property.

Tirthan Valley: Gushaini is 20 Kms from the Resort and is a gateway to the World famous Great Himalayan National Park, Gushaini is also known for World famous Trout fish farms.
Ghyagi:-This highly picturesque village is the birth place of the valley's most powerful deity “shringa Rishi Devta Ji”.Enjoy a quiet and serene rural ambience. Himachal's rural landscape offers varied and rich attractions comparable to some of the best countryside in the world.

Raghunath Temple :
In the 17th century. Raja Jagat Singh of Kullu committed a great wrong. To atone for the sin, he sent a senior courtier to Ayodhya for a statue of Lord Ragunath - Lord Rama. This temple was built by Raja Jagat Singh to house the image and even today, is greatly revered.

The Vaishno Devi temple (4km), the Devi Jagannath temple at Bekhi (5km) and the Vishnu temple at Dayar (12 km) other important shrines around Kullu.

Excursions

Bijii Mahadev Temple (14 km)
At 2460 m, this offers some spectacular views. The temple is famous for its high staff that periodically draws lightning which shatters the "Shivlinga" and scorches the building. Using only butter as adhesive, the 'Linga' is then carefully pieced together by the temple pundis.

One of the most charming temples in the Kullu valley, this is renowned for its intricate stone carvings.

Kaisdhar (15 km)
A high meadow fringed by deodar trees. A picturesque spot.

Kasol (42 km)
An open glade by the banks of the river Parvati. Clean white sand separates the lush green grass from the waters. A good spot for trout.

Manikaran (45 km)
At 1737 m, here are hot sulphur springs that bubble next to the icy waters of the Parvati river The place is revered by both Hindus and Sikhs. Treks from here lead to Pulga, Khirganga and Mantalai - a stretch of considerable natural beauty. The route finally revers the Pin Parvati Pass (4802 m) which opens into the Sutlej valley.

Shoja (69 km)
At 2692 m, this is a vantage point for a complete panorama of the Kullu area - snow peaks and valleys, meadows and forests, rivers and streams.

Raison (13 km)
By the banks of the Beas - and on the Kullu - Manali highway. Ideal for a taste of adventure.

Naggar (23 km)
For 1400 years this was the capital of Kullu. Its l6th century,stone and wood castle is now converted in a hotel .Here, a gallery houses the paintings of the Russian artist, Nicholas Roerich. Naggar also has three other old shrines.

Adventure and fishing
The Kullu Valley has numerous places for trout fishing. These include Katrain, Raison, Kasol and Naggar; then along the river Tirthan near Larji, in the Sainj Valley and in the Hurla khud. The valley is in the nucleus of several trek routes. Some major ones are over the Chanderkhani Pass to Malana over the Jalori Pass or Bashleo Pass to Shimta, and over the Pin Parvati Pass to Sarahan. The river Beas offers excellent opportunities for white water rafting.

Festivals
When Dussehra celebrations come to an end in the rest of the country, they begin at Kullu. Over 600 local deities come to pay homage to Lord Raghunath. This is a time when the valley is at its colourful best.
