Timber Trail Height sits majestically at 5,000 ft above sea level while Timber Trail Resort across the valley nestles below at 3,000 ft. Timber Trail Resort has about 30 rooms, 6 double, 23 deluxe rooms and 1 suite. It also has a coffee shop. Other facilities include swimming pool, multi equipped gymnasium, health club and beauty parlour. It has recently opened. It has recently opened its new conference hall with a capacity of 350 pax in theatre style, and boasts of the latest technology - laptop connections, multimedia, DVD so on. An already existing venue for conferences at the resort has 60 covers in theatre style and 30 pax that can be arranged as per need.

INFORMATION ABOUT PARWANOO

Along the National Highway 22, as you cross the State border from Haryana into Himachal, it is Parwanoo (470 m) that welcomes you. A couple of decades ago, this was a sleepy little village and today, it is a pulsating industrial town. Fruit based products and plastics, Motor parts and watch components and a whole lot more roll out of Parwanoo's factories. For the tourist, Parwanoo is a convenient base station to see and visit a number of nearby areas.

ACCESS: The nearest broad gauge railhead is at Kalka, only 1.5 km away. The nearest airport is at Chandigarh, 32 and ISBT 31 km away. Taxis and buses are available at both places.

CLIMATE: In winter, the temperature can get quite low when heavy woollens are required. It is pleasantly warm in summer and cottons are recommended.
