Location :
Around :
Ranikhet weaves around itself an old world charm that has its roots in the old
British Raj. It was once the pet excursion ground of Padmini, queen of the
Katyuri King Sudhardev (1180 AD). Thick pine cover, panoramic Himalayan view,
neatly laid out township and tonnes of fresh oxygen are what induces travellers
to visit Ranikhet.
Wayfarer Solitaire is eleven kilometers
away from Ranikhet town and is thus far removed from the crowded mall. Rows
and rows of pine and a sparsely populated village are what makes the
surrounding area ideal for long walks into the wilderness. |
